Additional Features includes:

iRobot Scooba does the floor washing for you too, at the cost of a whopping SGD $1398.
Additional Features includes:

• Knows where to clean and avoids rugs, carpets and cliffs
• Cleans beneath cabinet edges, tables, chairs and other hard-to-reach places
• Removes up to 98% of common household bacteria

You might wonder how effective are these robotic helpers. I have yet to come across any people who is using these models. However from the website profile, it seems like the US based company is pretty impressive since it has also ventured into military industry.

However, I have the privilege of interviewing someone who is using the Korean version of Auto Vacuum and Floor Washing Robot tomorrow. So stay tuned :)

Some of you might wonder if this piece of machine is really worth the investment...

Ok, lets assume that we are using the cheapest model (i.e. $799 w/o GST).

Assume that the machine lasts you for 2 years, which means 24 months.

Which works out to be approx $33 per month to use this robot. Throw in another $2 for the cost of electricity to run this machine and you are looking at $35 per month.

The investment seems worth a try. :)

See if you can find out the noise operating level when the machine is in use. The noise could be a deal breaker. :D
